Hi,
Powerplayer ; I did a recalculation of the time working on the program,my estimation of 30 to 40 hours was to low. It took me much more time...
Okay, now a little tutorial ;
#1. Importing pick-3 results ;
1.1
Enter the pick-3 results in excel, notepad or another text editor and save the results as a txt (text) file or a csv file (the import file must be in plain text format)
eg. results
0,0,6
717
2-4-1
.... It is no problem if the digits in your file are separated by a token like , or ; or # or a space or whatever...(2------,,,,,8---##tttedd7 is a valid result and will be converted to 287)
1.2
Put your import file in the same directory of the Pick3 program (Pick3.exe)!.
Click on the Output button and next click on the Import Combinations button on the Output page.
Check Copy To Results and then you click on the Import Combinations button on the Import Combinations page. Select your file with the pick3 results (your import file).
Next you will see a pop-up with the message "Save the imported combinations?" If you click on the
Yes button the results will be saved in lot.txt (the lot.txt will be overwritten). A back-up will be made of the old results (previous results if there were any) saved in the lotBU.txt file.
If you click on the No button the result will be loaded but not saved. You can click on the cancel button to load the previous (if there were any) results.
#2. 3-Digits-Filters ;
2.1 P-M-E Pattern Filter
eg. result 461 has the following P-M-E pattern = 4 to 6 = 2 Up = Plus and 6 to 1 = 5 down = Minus ---> so the pattern is P-M
eg. result 247 has the pattern P-P (from 2 to 4 = + = P and 4 to 7 = + = P)
eg. result 955 has the patterm M-E (9 to 5 = - = Minus and 5 to 5 = Equal)
* !Read the result from left to right
2.2 ABC Pattern Filter
eg. the ABC pattern of result 502 = ABC (3 different digits)
eg the ABC patern of result 373 = ABA ( A=3 and B=7 ; netto two different digits in result)
eg. the pattern of 588 = BAA ( B=5 and A=8 ; two the same digits as a pair ; netto two different digits in result)
* !The most results have an ABC pattern (netto three different digits)
2.3 Basic Number Filter
eg. the Basic number of result 816 = 12.
Here the calculation ; (abs(8-1) = 7) + ( abs(1 - 6) = 5) = 7 + 5 =12
abs means the absolute value. so abs(5-9) will be 4 and not -4 (minus 4)
later more....
Good luck,
Harm
ps. ! Don't forget to Check the Enable Filter checkbox to activate the filter
