=CONCATENATE((IF(((LEFT(C2,1))*1)>4,"H","L")),(IF(((MID(C2,2,1))*1)>4,"H","L")),(IF(((RIGHT(C2,1))*1)>4,"H","L")),(IF((ISEVEN(((LEFT(C2,1))*1))),"E","O")),(IF((ISEVEN(((MID(C2,2,1))*1))),"E","O")),(IF((ISEVEN(((RIGHT(C2,1))*1))),"E","O")))

Don't know where SirMetro has gone, but I would like this formula to track H/L & E/O separately and not together as it does now.

Tried to break it up like this

=CONCATENATE((IF(((LEFT(C2,1))*1)>4,"H","L")),(IF(((MID(C2,2,1))*1)>4,"H","L")),(IF(((RIGHT(C2,1))*1)>4,"H","L"))

and this

=CONCATENATE(IF((ISEVEN(((LEFT(C2,1))*1))),"E","O")),(IF((ISEVEN(((MID(C2,2,1))*1))),"E","O")),(IF((ISEVEN(((RIGHT(C2,1))*1))),"E","O")))

but it doesn't work.

Could it be due to the parenthesis?

    lOTTALOOT,

    Try  these.

    Carbob

    =CONCATENATE(IF(LEFT(B28,1)*1>4,"H","L"),IF(MID(B28,2,1)*1>4,"H","L"),IF(RIGHT(B28,1)*1>4,"H","L"))

    =CONCATENATE(IF(ISEVEN(LEFT(B29,1)*1),"E","O"),IF(ISEVEN(MID(B29,2,1)*1),"E","O"),IF(ISEVEN(RIGHT(B29,1)*1),"E","O"))

Works like a charm & much shorter also.  Wink

Correction  The H/L formulaworks like a charm.

It seems that I am having a problem with the E/O formula.

Will keep trying.  Maybe I left out something  Confused

It works. I was only copying half of the formula.
