Fellow Texas Pick 3 Players,

I am once again asking all of you who play the Texas Pick 3 to write to the Texas Lottery Commission, asking them to please consider adding the front pair/back pair option to the game. I just think we need to keep after them on a weekly basis. You know the old saying, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease." The more noise we make and the more often we make it, eventually we will get what we want.

The Commission's address is customer.service@lottery.state.tx.us

Thanks again for your help.

A great idea. Thanks for the suggestion. I will do it. I have written to them about other things as well, for instance, making a list of the combined draws and had even gave them a sample format. They told me they will consider it to add it in the future. But, to no avail.

OK, I did it. I hope this helps. I also hope that if they ever do this, they won't change the larger prizes, like they did in Cash5. I started mentioning that point, but took it out so as not to give any bad ideas. Here's the letter I sent.

Subject Line: Increase Players and Revenue for TX Lottery

      Merry Christmas!

I was wondering. I have noticed that a lot of other States have a front pair, a back pair, and a split pair prize on the Pick3 games. I am of the opinion that if this feature were added in the TX games, not only would the number of people who play at midday will increase (which I don't think is the majority of the Pick3 players), but this addition will increase the TX lottery revenue. The people who play at night will most likely increase their bets as well. It's true that there would be more smaller prizes paid out,  but I believe everything is relevant. The players will be happier as well making this a win-win situation for everybody.

Also, a published list of combined draws (midday and evening together)would be a great addition.

      Take care.

Ooops, sorry. On my reply to this post I started saying: "I gave them" and then I meant to change it to "I had given them" and forgot to change the tense of the verb from past to past participle--hehehe--- I think that's what you call those!   Boring.....huh!  Oh well, we need winning numbers here, not grammar lessons, especially if not right.  Still deciding what to play tonight. Might not play at all.

Both lists, separate and combined would be very good.

Pair's playing would also be great.

What about having them add the Pick 4 Game. That would be interesting and fun for all the Daily Game Player's.

I guess that would be alright as it pays a lot more. I would need to start taking P4 lessons, or at least going back to some posts here. A long time ago, BG developed some kind of list for P4 numbers, can't remember if it was about numbers to play when you only know one number or something similar. I saved that list somewhere, just in case that ever happens.

I contacted them about 1 yr. ago about the pick 4 and they did reply. They said they would consider it in the future.

I already asked them that before and was told that no, they don't want the pick 4 for Texas.

Well, I got a response today from TX Lottery on the Front Pair, Back Pair suggestion. Don't know how good it will come out to be. It could just be a courtesy reply. But, at least they replied.

                        Here it is:

"Thank you for your interest in our Pick 3 game. I will forward your
                        e-mail to our Product Manager.

                        Thanks for contacting us."

                          In other words "forget it"

Or maybe, in another 10 to 20 years.

They might not be very bright, but they are not completely stupid either.

                          Good luck.
