"TRI-STATE LOTTO COMMISSION
New Hampshire Lottery
Concord, NH
OCTOBER 7, 2005, 10:30 A.M.
DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
It was determined that the next release that everyone can do together to launch the new and improved Megabucks is April 30, 2006. The release after that is August 22. The hold up is the proposed research which is being evaluated. The committee has narrowed down game concepts that they would like to research. They are the Lotto Silver Add-on and an Arizona version of a pick game, a classic lotto game with a bonus ball that only applies to the second tier level, and a classic lotto buy-up concept. Scientific Games is working on matrices for two of the games, not Lotto Silver, that will work with our population base. They will get back to us with their recommendations. Scientific Games is also working on a time line for the research so we can find out if we can get it done and meet the December 30th deadline for game specs. Plans are to have the Business Plan completed and out to everyone before the December commission meeting. Recommendation and approval will have to be acted upon at the December meeting. Lottery testing will begin early April. We are trying to pull the three states’ testing together so perhaps the testing could go a little easier. Subscription testing will also be included.
Two for Tuesdays has been tested by Scientific Games so this game can begin in early 2006. Specs have yet to be drafted."
