I love James Bond movies!
OK...here's the scoop...In Goldfinger...after 007 returns to London from Florida he meets with M who tells him if he (007) cannot carry out his assignment objectively then 008 can replace him. And when Mr. Bond is tied to the golden table and about to be cut in half by Goldfinger's new "hi tech" laser beam he informs Goldfinger that if he is killed and doesn't report in 008 will replace him.
And of course it was Sean Bean who played 006 in Golden Eye.
But wait! There's more!
In The Man with the Golden Gun there is yet another agent mentioned...Bill Fairbanks. But my memory is failing me at the moment and I can't remember his number. 009?
In Thunderball we're treated to a veritable plethora of 00 agents! (Although none of them are mentioned by name or number.) When 007 arrives late for a meeting Miss Moneypenny imforms him that "every double 0 man in Europe" has been called in. (WHAT? No Double 0 women? The sexist pigs!) We then see Mr Bond walk into a conference room filled with Double 0 agents being briefed on the theft of 2 nuclear warheads.
Check out AMC this week. They're playing Bond movies 24/007 all week. (And please no smart remarks. That's their promo not mine.)
So what Double 0 number should you play in your state lottery? None of them! Go to your local casino and play Cehmin de Fer instead (Mr Bond's favorite game.) Oh...by the way...007 was also seen playing craps in Diamonds Are Forever. He won a paltry $50,000.
But if your looking for a number to play consider playing 6's. They were lucky for Mr. Bond while playing Backgammon in a casino with Khamel Kahn in the movie Octopussy. (Just don't ask me how to play double 6's in a 3 number daily game.)
So enough Bond trivia for now. Time for me to go. Sorry if I bored you.
