First of all, good for him for playing one number instead of $25 worth of different numbers. All or nothing.

His story should give us all more hope of winning big in Pick 4 one day.

There is another guy in Virginia who puts more than $100 on 5188 boxed. If that's not enough, he even puts more on straight and combo bets. I'm not even sure if he plays day and night.   Anyway, he plays this number reguarly (multiple times in a week) since he won a couple thousand last December. It's the only number he plays and he's seen a few close-calls recently. You'll definitely hear about it when he hits.

We joke that the lottery won't let that number come out because he puts so much money on it.

Well, here's proof that it can happen. Thumbs Up

I do not joke at all. My father (rest his soul) hit the Oh P4 back in the 80's for $60,000. Not sure what exact year he played but I know it was on 5551.

When ever I think the 50, 51, or 501 are coming up in P4, I drop down at least $2 straight on 5150. Some day, it's going to come in. Hopefully, it will be a day when I drop a little more than $2 on it.

Talk about close calls? It doesnt matter when I play it, it's always a close call; always one number off. Last night's P4 was 4501.....one of these days; one of these days..Dad better watch out! lol!

Congrats to the Va guy with $125K!

Sherwin, I see your'e from Va. I'll be moving to Herndon / Reston area soon. Perhaps that's where I'll catch ol' 5150.
