I just bought one mega-millions ticket. It is a quick-pick. I think $40 million is more than I need!  If you like the numbers, go buy you one with the same numbers on the ticket.  I think sharing the money might bring luck to us. Who knows?

The numbers are:  10  20  23  24  40  and the money ball is 13

Good Luck, I hope you win!!!

If you're willing to share, why should others buy a quick-pick with the same numbers?  They can simply PM you information about where to send their share if you win.  Your and their odds of winning might be better if they bought a quick-pick with different numbers and offered to share with others doing the same thing.

There was a local store that had a fish bowl pool similar to that but people can't be trusted.  The rules were anybody could buy a quick-pick ticket for the next drawing, sign their name and throw it into a fish bowl and after the drawing, a trusted clerk would check all the tickets and divide up the winnings among everyone who put a ticket in the bowl.  The clerk decided if the tickets won less than $600 which didn't required the signature on the ticket be check with ID at a local bank then he could cash in some of them for himself and not tell the pool about it.  Once he was discovered the pool ended.

    Good luck.

It appears to me there is a misunderstanding here. ez isn't asking for anything, she/he is offering the numbers to hopefully share the jackpot with whoever else wants to use them providing they hit. Why is it that every time someone posts something at Lotto Post, everyone else jumps to conclusions that the poster only wants something for themselves. Read the message people!

          I got it.

          Sounds like RJ got it

          What made you think otherwise?

Unless I am mistaken, this appears that RJOH is under the impression that ez wants something in return for the use of the numbers he posted providing they hit. The way I read ez's message, he is throwing out the numbers for anyone that want's to use them hoping to increase the luck of the draw on those numbers. Didn't ez state that he didn't need all of the 40 million for himself?

I won't speak for RJ but when I read that, I thought RJ was kidding and saying that everyone can cut out the middleman (that is, not buy a ticket) and just send a PM to ez to claim their share, same as if they held a ticket. That is to have ez send their portion directly from his $40 Mil.

                  LottoVantage,

As truecritic said I was just kidding as I thought takeitez was doing.  I assume when ever anyone post something at LP, they do it for entertainment expecting nothing in return but a response.  Sorry my response was confusing to you.

I wouldn't share any tickets. If I had won the lotto, then I would talk to family to help me.

I'm thinking of coming up with a similar idea as takeitez but with a slightly different twist.  I plan to come up with a set of numbers to play and if they are winners, I will offer to pay double the cost for the ticket LP members bought with those numbers if they will send me the unsigned tickets, this way if I win they will get double their investment back.

So if I bought 50 of your winner numbers, I would get $100?
How do I know that I can depend on you paying up?  I mean, come on, $100 is a lot of money!

...I cannot believe your generosity, it sounds too good to be true!

Could I afford to be so generous if I wasn't the type of person you could trust?
