I had that same experience one year, but this bird destroyed two window screens by poking a giant hole in them. We were perplexed by his actions. I finally moved some plants from the windowsills and he eventually stopped. Also play your house number. Mine came out several times during this birds episode.

          Good luck.

            Hi Gracie Girl,

Yesterday when i opened my front door there were about 4 or 5 red birds sitting on my fence, i thought that was odd to see then in the winter but it was about 55 degrees yesterday here in VA and i guess they were a little confused ! Smiley

Sandy...Great idea,he actually came back after I posted this..would have been the time to do that...generally he only arrives once in early am ,then back the next am.

Lucky123...Yeah its been mid 50's here in middle ga. as well....but this am it was in mid 30's...Which I thought was kinda cold for redbirds....maybe thats why he is pecking at window...wants to get in and get warm...LOL....

Litebets....OH my goodness, you are not going to believe this but I spoke earlier about the fact that this has been going on for about a week, well just a couple of days back the number 015 fell...My address is 105....argh!!! I had played this number for weeks and had forgot to play it that day...think I should play again?..could repeat huh?...thanks
