Hello all once again,

I am working on a little project on Drawing per state count.

I put togeather a break down for each state useing 0-9 count of digits, double digit pair count(66),regular pair count (02)

Also it gives me the total of over all how that set did in pairs or single digits.

Now unless I'm mistaken...there is 31 days in Dec. and Jan. So that means there should be a equal amount of totals for single digits drawn right? Well look at Jan 06. We have 83 total so far of all numbers that have come out up till the 25th. We have a total of:

01/26/0501/27/0501/28/0501/29/0501/30/0501/31/05
THURFRISATSUNMONTUES

6 drawings left in this month.

Last month Dec. 05 we had a total of 83 drawn numbers in 31 days.

Well if you take 3x31 (3 being 3 balls drawn 31 being days in month you get a total of = 93

Here is where I'm confused...We only had 83 balls drawn in a 31 day period in December but, we should have a total of 93 each month that there is 31 days?? So right now we have 70 balls that have been drawn so far. With 6 drawing left @ 3 balls drawn per day you would have 18 more balls that can be drawn right? So 18 + 70 is 88 which is highier then December 05 for the whole 31 days.

I'm confused...anyone.......Buller...???

Not sure if this makes sence but, I'm trying to find states that are similiar in digit and pair drawings each month. See if there is any bias to it.

Any comments/help on this would be great!!

Now we have Jan. 06 total of 58 balls drawn with 5 drawings left..No drawing on Sunday.

    For Dec. 05 there were a total of 70 total balls drawn in 31 days - 4 sundays for a total of = 27 draws x 3 balls = 81

    Again the numbers are wrong???

For Jan. 06 total balls drawn are 58 and we have 5 days x 3 balls per drawing left per day with a total of = 15 more balls.

    58 + 15 = 73 but yet there were only 70 in Dec. 05???

    Something is not right here???

Could it be because of holidays (no draws)?

Bob - I think he compensated for that already.

PP - is it possible that your not accounting for doubles or triples maybe?

              hello all,

Bob California does draws on holidays but, if a state doesn't do a draw then I have n/a and it doesn't count that draw.

              Total70

cps10 The is only counts balls drawn 0-9 each day. So in other words there were 14 3's drawn so far this month in California.

Can someone post what the total amount of draws there should be in a month for California. Then take 3 balls per drawing and times that by the amount of draws. You should get the total amount of balls drawn.

My chart breaks this down so you can know which number is coming out more. The 1 has come out 10 times. So this shows a person that 1 and 3 are very hot digits to use. The other part of the chart shows the counts with pairs like 55 or 33

The rest of the chart shows pairs like 02 or 20 there is a count for those for either way it come out.

I'm mainly concerned with the first row. The math should be the same every month??

Thank you for the help...this is baffling me???ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedv

The only thing I don't do in my chart is know when the last time the number came out. Good feature that Todd has in the tools but, he has digit count and his 1 and 3 have a hit count of 14 for 1 and 16 for 3. This is 30 days. Mine is 31 but, it should still be the same. Were both counting the same drawings and the same months or amount of days.

                    Thanks Paurths...

It's my excel that is doing it. It's not doing it on all of the states or numbers just some of them.

your Jan 06. number 4 ..mine is off by one on this. I hand counted them to make sure. I don't understand this. All the cells have the same formula in it to count the digits.

I'm going to have to recheck this over and see why it won't count all the digits.

                      PP,

I had the same problem counting skips. The formula wasn't reading some of the digits. The solution is in the format . Type 1 in an empty cell, copy that cell, drag your columns where the digits are, paste special, multiply.

PP - how's it coming with those pairs that I asked about? The 17 worked very well in '05. Have any more to test out?

what does the formula look like?

I know strange errors can happen if a formula contains a "legal" circular reference... that's what un-did my last system
