South Australians won more than $195 million in prize money last year across SA Lotteries’ games of Lotto, SA Lotto, Oz Lotto, Powerball, Super 66, Pools, Keno and Instant Scratchies.
The $195 million worth of prize money included $71 million won in Saturday Lotto, $55 million in Keno, nearly $23 million in Instant Scratchies, $21 million in Powerball, and $19 million in SA Lotto.
The dream of winning a Division One prize came true for 87 lucky locals during the year, with nine becoming overnight millionaires and three multimillionaires.
Ms June Roache, SA Lotteries Chief Executive said that the Division One winners shared more than $40 million, enabling them to enjoy the chance of doing something special for themselves or others with their unexpected windfall.
“SA Lotteries is proud to support the South Australian community through the return to players in prizes and the returns to the State Hospitals Fund and Recreation and Sport Fund for the benefit of all South Australians,” Ms Roache said.
SA Lotteries prides itself on providing entertaining games that enable us to generate maximum returns for the South Australian community in a socially responsible manner.
