In the spirit of the yacht question, what size house would you buy if you won the PB or MM jackpots?  6000 sq ft?  10000 sq ft?  15000 sq ft?  Bigger?  What's your dream house like?  Do you have anything picked on on realtor.com or would you want to build something from scratch exactly the way you want it?

I'd probably buy land and build my dream house.  I don't think it would be bigger than 10000 sq ft and there would be marble in the foyer and in the bathrooms.  Lots of hardwood.  Brick and stone exterior.  A lot of thought has gone into this, lol.

Everyone feel free to share!

No, nothing like that. I don't know what the sqauer footage is but I'd buy one of those abanded Air Force missile silos in the Dakotas and hang out there long wnough for people to forget I'd won!

Trust me, might not be a bad plan! \

Nothing real fancy-just a nice good-sized 4 bdr. beside the ocean would suit me just fine(I wouldn't feel comfortable in anything real fancy)

Big house on 100 acres in the middle of nowhere with security gates/guard dogs and the rest of the world can bite me.( except my LP buds, of course..)

I'd be more into condo's then a house.  Stateside, one in NYC, one in Miami, One in Los Angeles, and one in Honolulu.  That should handle whatever place my mood sent me.  NYC for the Broadwayu plays.  Los Angeles for parade of stars.  Miami for the view. Honolulu - obvious.  Assuming about $1.5M to $2.5 for each.  Then there is my favorite supplemental itrems:

The entire living room wall (s tories) nothing but windows overlooking the lagoon style pool and golf course). Love the beach..but do not want to live on...FL = HUrricane capital...

I have my home picked out in the Lincoln Park Distric in Chicago,  also have to live in Florida, or Hawaii, depends on what one takes my fancy on the lucky day. As for size It has to be big enough for all my family to have a room to stay in when they visit, and a guest house for me so I can get away from them when they do visit(hahahaha)

Happy Valentines Day to every one on LP

Good luck to all that play tonight.Lovies

I play the lottery for entertainment, if I'm lucky and win the jackpot I won't waste it on a 6,000 sq. ft. plus fancy house that will need a full time staff to care for it.

I would continue to live where I do..  I am very happy here...

I would have a full - time help with the Swimming Pool.  I hate tending to the pool chores.  I would never have to check chemicals again.. vacuum it, or doing anything with those chores..

I would continue to mow my own yard.. I love that outdoor job.. On the rider of course... It is a three hour job by myself.. I would get the second rider to share the yard with my hubby..lol
