  You have seen my spills about the USA Lottery.  Now I think I would change it and iclude the following based on the recent Lottry News worldwide.  I really like El Gordo's national lottery; EuroMillions is a neat concept, etc.  So here goes:

  Welcome to the Americas Lotto!

  1. It would be a lottery of North and South America for disasters primarily in the Americas, but other countries would be sent donations as needed.
  2. Jackpot would include prizes;

  • $1,000,000.00 Dream House complete with appliances designed by Americas Lotto in selected location.
  • Car
  • Boat
  • Truck
  • Other 'things/services' donated by sponsors to promote their products
  • Vacation (two week paid vacation in location of your choice? Or a designated area)
  • If one or more people or a pool wins the jackpot; prizes will be divided equally OR they can choose an option to divide the cash value of the prizes.  I am sure most would prefer the cash value since, for instance if the pool had 30= people, the houses would not be all that valuable.

        3.The base prize money would start at $25,000,000.00

  • Rollover amount would be $12,500,000.00
  • Rollover amount would be $25,000,000.00 when the jackpot reached $500,000,000.00

        4. There would be 2 bonus ball colors; one red, one blue and 52 white balls

  • red bonus ball numbers 1-75, blue bonus ball numbers 1-7

        5.  Payouts:

  • Jackpot= 5 white, 1 red, 1 blue              Jackpot and Prizes
  • 5 white + 1 red                                      $1,000,000.00
  • 5 white + 1 blue                                     $ 200,000.00
  • 5 white                                                 $ 100,000.00
  • 4 white +1 red + 1 blue                           $ 100,000.00
  • 3 white +1 red + 1 blue                           $1,000.00
  • 3 white + 1 red                                      $ 500.00
  • 3 white + 1 blue                                    $100.00
  • 3 white                                                  $ 50.00
  • 1 white +1 red+1blue                              $  7.00
  • 1 red +1 blue                                          $  5.00
  • red ball only                                          $  1.00

      6.  Proceeds for natural disaster relief in the Americas primarily; then world wide.

      7.  Cash or Annuity options

      8.  THE SUPER PLAY---Double my jackpot option!  available @ $100.00 per play when the current Americas jackpot surpasses the  previous jackpot record.  [For jackpot (top prize only)]

        9.  Advanced play options up to a year

        10.  Each play $1.00

        11.  Drawings on Monday and Thursday every week.

        12.  Big Play Option available; $2.00 per play and doubles all prize levels except the jackpot.

  Okay, I am dreaming.  As a man thinketh, so is he...  I believe it!  It can happen.  What do you think?

  My vote is for all states in the United States to have their USA Lottery. Players must match 5 numbers out of 80 and one Mega Ball from out of 55 to win jackpot.

  My idea is to make current game(Mega millions or Powerball) a cash only game and raise ticket price to $2 each. I think this will drive us to the record jackpot faster.
