I have decided not to renew my subscription to the South African National Lottery. The main reason is that it is difficult and expensive to cash the small prize checks they send. I asked if they could credit winning to my subscription account, to be used as credit on renewal, or sent one check quarterly, but they say that it is not possible to do either. They send each prize separately, they even send checks for R7 , which costs R4.25 postage; is that crazy or what? There are many people around the world who would like to play the SANL, it is time they spoke the language of the buyer. It would also be more efficient for the lottery.
