Kirby Puckett was a man among boys playing a sport he loved dearly! He started life with  humble beginnings in the gang ridden south side of chicago, he was the youngest of 11 kids. He grew up poor but never short on heart or giving, he once told his mother at a very young age that he was going to "play MLB baseball and win a world series" not only did he he win a world series once but twice '87 and '91! I rank the loss of Kirby Puckett right up there with the loss of Dale Earnhardt! Thoughts and prayers are with the family!
