Hi Todd

First of all...thank you for all of the work you do with the site. I love it. Otherwise, I would have cancelled my Premium.

I was wondering, would it be possible to put more sets of numbers in the Historical search feature. Whereas 10 is good in many cases, there are times when I need sets of 30, 50 or more. How easy would that be?

Best,

Keith/cps10

I think 10 is the maximum reasonable amount that I can program into the system, and represents a good balance between ease of use and expanded functionality.  In other words, putting more than 10 simultaneous searches would represent a certain difficulty in programming that I don't believe would be used by enough people to make it worthwhile, and would make the page more complicated than necessary.  It's not a bad idea, I just think it wouldn't work too well for Lottery Post for those reasons.

    I appreciate the suggestion!

        Todd

Thanks for your quick reply as always. I guess I could just open the window 3 times for functionality that way and get 30 combos put in.

Yes, I agree, that would be a good way to do it.

If you use Firefox or Opera, you could open the page in three different tabs.  The new IE7 can do that also, but it's still a beta browser.

I just use IE6...three windows of the same page, input different numbers. Saves time than having to go back to search criteria for each 10.

That will certainly work.  My comments about the other browsers were just a tip for those with limited screen space.  With those browsers, you can do the same thing, except they are all contained within one browser window, in separate tabs.  Kind of like how you can have different spreadsheet tabs open in Excel.

'Embedding objects' code for displaying multiple web pages using html may work.

I'll see if I can find an example of what I'm talking about.

It won't work because the editor would remove the code automatically.  The editor has a smart cleanup routine that tries to remove any non-XHTML standard code.  The <embed> tag is not XHTML compliant.
