I think Ohio has found another way to p*ss off LOP players. The free plays generated are not just quick-pick only, but are NOT eligible for the $10 Instant Win.

They say the odds of getting 2 numbers out of 5 are 1 in 6. I played 10 tickets and didn't win anything.

Ssssucker! No offence intended but, $20 for a game where you have limited control over the numbers that you play and 5 out of 100 numbers drawn. The game was designed to produce more smaller wins to temp people to spend more money and at $2 a shot it's just not worth it.

Well the promotion seems to be working.  Record payouts and record jackpot jumps for the level it is at.  They are doing something right.

I spent $10 for 10 tickets, it's buy one get one free for Saturdays in April. It's still not worth it though. I don't like not being able to pick all my own numbers.

I disagree, the people who don't like LOP don't play it.  It make no sense to play a game that p*ss you off.  LOP is designed for the players who will buy a QP for $2 with twelve chances to win something, not the system players who pick their own numbers, there's Rolling Cash5 and MegaMillions for those types  of players.

The April 2 LOP may have set a record for payout (excluding the jackpot) but IMHO it won't be of much help after the promotion is over. Sort of an April Fool's joke.

LOP had its third jackpot winner last night. Back to $1 million.

Perhaps other states could have good promotions.

Missouri: Pick 3 winning numbers are on the website hours before the drawing but that number is already frozen. It's the "Too late sucker" promotion.

Indiana: Pick 4 pays 50,000 for a straight win for a month. After no one wins during the month it's the "Hoosers are loosers" promotion.

Washington: In honor of switching online ticket paper from pink featuring balls to pale green paper featuring four leaf clovers players can enter to win the balls from when the lottery had real drawings instead of computer drawings. It's the "We have no balls" promotion.

The LOP April promotion clearly is not helping. The payout for 4/12 was a new record low of 118k.

The payout for 4/15 was the lowest so far (excluding the jackpot) for a Saturday LOP drawing during the current promotion. Does OH have a backup for this game yet?

LOP continues to hit record lows. The payout for Wednesday 4/19 was just over 110k.
