hi, i got a question about lottery and was wandering if it was possible you all could help me....I am doing research in lottery (you could call me a lotto researcher) specifically the pick3 & Pick4....i know they got the pick3 games and that has 10 balls from 0-9 and if you boxed any combination, there will be i think 9 or 6 ways i can be boxed/arranged.....my research involves wanting to know how many ways a number can be boxed if you increase the range on pick3, instead of 0-9 you would have it from 0-15 or whatever number you desire....or what if you had pick4 but you increase the range so that i will be instead of from 0-9 you will have from 0-14....i can find out how many total combination the game will have if you increase the range but i can't find how many ways each combination of numbers can be boxed/arranged of a particular game range.... What i will like to know is if there is a formula, a website or a book you could POINT ME in the direction of that will help me figure out how many ways each particular combination of a game with its range altered can be boxed/arranged (assuming the numbers repeat and 883 is different from 388)....i had a book that i bought like 6 years ago when i was in college and in it it explain some of the process of combinations but it doesn't explain the process if the numbers repeat, like 8-8-3 (pick3) (i threw away the book like 7 months ago), it only explains how to figure out how many combination a game will have if the numbers don't repeat, like pick5 and pick6....i have been trying to find information on it on the internet but i can't find nothing....i would really appreciate you all's opinion....
sincerely,
michael Brown
ps-not to be picky or anything but i sure will like to buy a book that will teach you how to figure out the numbers of way each combination can be boxed...

As far as I know, it's physically impossible to write 0-15 in a chart, with the same parameters and guidelines that dictate the mechanics of 0-9. Two different animals. I'm not sure there is such an animal of 0-15. How would the chart look like?
0 0 0
1 1 1
2 2 2
3 3 3
4 4 4
5 5 5
6 6 6
7 7 7
8 8 8
9 9 9
11 11 11
12 12 12
13 13 13
14 14 14
15 15 15
And if it did look like the one above, how would you determine what 11 or 14 represented?

guy this is what i mean for example, look at the number 529 in pick3....it has 6 ways i can be box/play out...e.g 529, 592, 952, 925, 259, 295 how many boxed ways a pick3 game that has a range from 0-14 instead of 0-9 would have..or any range...I am trying to find a formula or a book or website that could teach me how to figure out the ways a particular combination can be box whether is pick3 or pick4....

Well, if there are still three ball machines (or four for the Pick 4), then the permutations will be the same as if the number of balls were 10 (0 - 9)
If the balls 11, 13, and 4 were drawn, then the permutation would be like this...

Do you work for a state lottery or lotteries? And are you and they trying to replace 10x3 digits pick 3 games with 14x3 and 10x4 digits pick 4 games with 15x3 digits?
I hope that if you and they do, that people quit buying lottery tickets.
They say that a fool and his money will soon part, to buy tickets for 15x3 and 15x4 pick 3 and pick 4 new games is a lot more foolish than to buy tickets for the games as they are right now, not too many people are winning right now as it is, How many will win if the games were changed?
15x15x15=3,150 and 15x15x15x15=47,250.
Almost 50 000 to 1 for pick 4 and 3 000 to 1 for pick 3.
Will anybody ever win then and or again?
I sure would have to make some new filter's rules and or filters then if I can, I guess.

I guess, instead of a $500.00 payout for a straight, it would $25,000. Since the odds are now 1 in 50,000.

We really need to get much better filters programs from Harmen and Paurths so we can have a much better chance of winning, if the games are REMADE then we will need brand new lottery programs as the old ones won't work no more.
Learning programming and or at least Excel is almost a most now-days for many lottery players.
Somebody should teach lottery programming and or Excel for lottery programming.

While progressive betting probably does work, you might need to be loaded with money to use that technique and it might also be very risky, you also need to be able to win sooner or latter otherwise you would be in very big trouble.
