Hi,

i've added some features to the free pick4 wheeling engine i put up for download here earlier.

You can select to either create numbers that must have consecutive digits in them (at least 2 or at least 3), or numbers that may not have consecutive digits in them.
Further more it is now possible to select values for each of the 4 widths in a pick3-number. (there are more, but this is it for now)
Width between the lowest and second lowest digit, width between the second lowest and second highest digit, width between the second highest and highest digit and width between the lowest and highest digit.

There is a helpfile available (MS Word-format), by clicking the button with caption "Wheel help".

        Hi Janet, Califdude,

        you're welcome.

I noticed consecutives can be "exluded", should ofcourse be "excluded" LOL

The Pick 4 program's exclude also does not work correctly.  Notice in the following how many 09 pairs you see.  09 is a consecutive.

                0079, 0097, 0207, 0208, 0209, 0270, 0277, 0280, 0288, 0290, 0299, 0907, 0970, 0977, 0979, 0997, 6008, 6009, 6080, 6088, 6090, 6099, 6118, 6119, 6181, 6188, 6191, 6199, 6200, 6288, 6299, 6800, 6808, 6811, 6818, 6880, 6881, 6900, 6909, 6911, 6919, 6990, 6991, 7009, 7079, 7090, 7097, 7099, 7119, 7179, 7191, 7197, 7199, 7200, 7207, 7270, 7279, 7297, 7299, 7900, 7907, 7909, 7911, 7917, 7919, 7970, 7971, 7990, 7991, 8200, 8208, 8280, 9007, 9070, 9077, 9079, 9097, 9117, 9171, 9177, 9179, 9197, 9200, 9209, 9277, 9279, 9290, 9297, 9907, 9917, 9970, 9971

                  Hi Califdude,

thanx for pointing out things that are not working as they should, it's always good to receive some feedback, b/c sometimes i lack the time of testing all the possibilities in the software(s) to their extend ("extend", is that a real word? it just came up as i was writing it down lol)

concerning: "0178, 0187, 0189, 0198, ..."the consecutive-counter did not function as it should, it should (hopefully) be fixed now. (after you download it again ofcourse)

As to 0 and 9 being consecutives, none of my algorithms for consecutives work that way.
Should it consider 0 and 9 to be true consecutives?
It's a good point 'tho, but i never thought of it that way so  far, that's all.

I guess i can add/adjust it, but i don't know what other people think of this...
Some feedback on this would be great.

                  cheers

                      you're very welcome, mybolade.

I've adjusted both tools, pick3- and pick4-wheeling engine.
Both now consider digits 0 and 9 to be consecutive digits.

Everyone will, ofcourse, have to download the tools again for the changes to take effect.
The download-links are in my signature.
When running them, the pick3-engine should be V 1.1.0
and the pick4-engine should be V 1.3.0 (the version-number can be found in the titlebar of the tool)

                      Cheers

There are 10 consecutives (we have a decimal numbering system), so they have to be:

                          012

                          123

                          234

                          345

                          456

                          567

                          678

                          789

                          890

                          901

You have already changed both programs and I really appreciate it.
