The last time Mega Millions and Powerball were hit on consecutive nights was in May 2004. A $66 million MM jackpot was won on May 7, 2004, and the very next night, a $212 million Powerball jackpot was won.

Powerball and MM have been following each other pretty closely for a few months now, if one gives or takes a few drawings.

I notice this because I live in a border area.  I like it when the games are out of phase, so that I can always have one large jackpot available.  I hate it when they follow one another like this.

Well, both jackpots have rolled and didn't hit. I hope that MM and PB doesn't hit in consecutive days for a while.

The problem with both hitting a day or two apart is that NY Rotto sometimes temporarily has a higher jackpot. Last night was an example.

Well, it happened again 6/16 and 6/17. And NY Lotto continues to roll.

CASH Only, I was WRONG on my vote guess! My vote was no, but answer was yes. When CA SLP continued to roll, they had the highest jackpot in the world at times when both MM and PB didn't roll. I hope NY Lotto gets hit, but CA SLP rolls until a winner hits at 100 million.

I think SLP will exceed 100 million. It has been close to 200.

I agree CASH. I think SLP at this moment has a good chance of passing the 100 million dollar mark. One or two more rolls should do it.

I say it will take three more rollovers. The last roll was $6 million, leaving the jackpot $18 million shy of 100m.
