Thouhht maybe we could post stories like this - when I read it I thought good for him, and at the same time, where's the justice.
This is from the Missouri lottery website:
Retired Deputy Sheriff Wins $20,600 In Lottery Prizes
A hankering for donuts brought a retired deputy sheriff a $20,000 windfall. Dru Preator, 43, of Hollister said he stopped in Casey’s, 1835 S. Business Highway 65 in Hollister, on May 19 to buy a couple of donuts on his way to Harrison with a friend. While buying donuts, he also bought two Missouri Lottery "Lifetime Riches" Scratchers tickets and uncovered a $20,000 prize. He said he had already uncovered a $500 prize and a $100 prize on two other "Lifetime Riches" tickets he had bought prior to that stop, for total winnings of $20,600 for the day.
"I was in shock," said Preator, who is a retired deputy sheriff for Taney and Stone counties and is now employed as the security manager for Westgate Resort in Branson. "I called my buddy and told him to come down here. ’I think I’m going to have a heart attack.’"
