Thouhht maybe we could post stories like this - when I read it I thought good for him, and at the same time, where's the justice.

This is from the Missouri lottery website:

Retired Deputy Sheriff Wins $20,600 In Lottery Prizes

Story PhotoA hankering for donuts brought a retired deputy sheriff a $20,000 windfall. Dru Preator, 43, of Hollister said he stopped in Casey’s, 1835 S. Business Highway 65 in Hollister, on May 19 to buy a couple of donuts on his way to Harrison with a friend. While buying donuts, he also bought two Missouri Lottery "Lifetime Riches" Scratchers tickets and uncovered a $20,000 prize. He said he had already uncovered a $500 prize and a $100 prize on two other "Lifetime Riches" tickets he had bought prior to that stop, for total winnings of $20,600 for the day.

"I was in shock," said Preator, who is a retired deputy sheriff for Taney and Stone counties and is now employed as the security manager for Westgate Resort in Branson. "I called my buddy and told him to come down here. ’I think I’m going to have a heart attack.’"

That is great news.. I stay away from scratch offs myself. I see too many people lose at that game.

I like the pick 3 and pick 4..

I dont play too much pick 5 or pick 6..

My hubby says to focus more on the big pot..

'Get it over with in one bang"

Instead $500 here and $1000 there..

It is the challenge I like ...

However, I help out my luck with vtracs and now with the claircash system.. everything looks

    rosey down the road.

    Luck/Vtracs brought me $1561 today in pick 4's and GA's pick 3

Good for him for his lucky win. I don't play scratch-offs very much either. I like playing games where I can choose my own numbers. But I do play every now and then.

I think any time anyone wins a lottery prize they're lucky.  Since state lotteries pay out prizes with 50% of ticket sales or less that means for every dollar someone wins someone else spent two dollars and won nothing.  So Mr Preator winning $20,000 means at least 40,000 tickets were sold that won nothing, you got to be lucky to beat those kinds of odds.

         * you don't need to buy more tickets, just buy a winning ticket *

The only luck i ever have is when I win.....That's pretty Ironic....

On the other hand, I'm not so lucky when I lose......LOL
