  Morning to all,

  I was doing some follow-ups on Va and a few other states and took note that 0,2,4 digits will appear 75 to 80% of the time in a number of states including Va, SC, Ga, Ca, and others even through a history check with the same results, singles and doubles. 3 out of 10 digits with that kind of showing, thats pretty strong. And I also noticed that they are not so much in combination as they are in single digit form only. So in creating combination for the following day in the numbers string, it would almost certain having 0,2,4 in the string all the time in most cases.

  I would like to hear your comments on what you see on this as well.

  Hi CalifDude,

  That makes my point even stronger. When generating a string for selection, I would be more inline to consider having 0,2,4 in the string more often than not, which seems to be better odds. It already brings the 120 combination to a 85 combination in reduction with still a strong hit count. That also true in consideration of doubles as well.

  Creating 6-ways that must have 0, 2 or 4 in them will produce 85 combo's, like CD wrote.

  Now,
  creating 6-ways that must have 1, 3 or 5 in them will produce 85 combo's.
  creating 6-ways that must have 7, 8 or 9 in them will produce 85 combo's.
  creating 6-ways that must have 0, 5 or 9 in them will produce 85 combo's.
  ...

  here is some data about VA eve:

  6	1659
  1	1633
  5	1627
  8	1620
  3	1611
  4	1609
  7	1595
  9	1593
  2	1585
  0	1566

   

  Digit 0, 2 and 4 have not exactly been the best digits in VA...

   So ...because digits 6,,,1,,,and 5 are the most frequent hitters does that mean they are the best string candidates?

   Second question.. can we always assume that they are the top doubles as well. 66 11 55 ?

   And here's a thought....  Is there any state that has all even or all odd digits in the top 3 spots??   I bet not. If so ...that could be a crack to explore. Hmmm  

                                 Top 246  Bottom 135  etc.  ?

    There is something that binds these digits together in a certain balance that fascinates me.

  no, it does not mean that digits 6, 1 and 5 are the best string candidates. (This is just a view of the times each digit has fallen since 1989 in VA.)
  To know that one would have to look at how the digits are performing now, and compare it to the past.
  6, 1 and 5 might as well be the worst digits around at this point in time. (in VA eve)
  The past year digits 3, 2, 8 and 5 were the best hitting digits.
  The past 6 months: 3, 9, 2 and 5
  The past 3 months: 3, 2, 8 and 9
  The past month: 3, 2, 4, 0

  Best performing doubles, since 1989:

  00	149
  11	164
  22	150
  33	153
  44	146
  55	157
  66	147
  77	161
  88	158
  99	138

   

  DE eve has 3 even digits as best performing digits, 8, 2 and 0.

  I am not going to go over all of the states at this moment. It is so hot here that typing this even makes me sweat lol

   My focus was on the mix of Even and Odd. Seems always in balance over the long run. The examples above....at least the longer ones all have a mix of both even and odd digits.

   Short term.... Geeezzzz  Anything can happen. New York and their digits 9's !

  DE i showed is over the long run. (well, since 1998)

  And it has 7, 5 and 9 as worst performing digits.

  I want to thank CalifDude, paurths, and WIN D for your comments and replies to this thread. Interesting points. I certainly see each of yours points of views and take heed. As I look at these pick 3 numbers, looking for patterns, sums, roots, skips & hits, on-and-on, sometimes the most obvious is staring right at me and blind to the fact, I kept over sighting it, well it jumped right out at me as I was viewing LP's p-3 State's histories, it just sticks out at me like a sore thumb. What I'm seeing, goes beyond short term cycles here. The other numbers are not. Sure there are cycles of frequent #'s other than 0,2,4, as paurths mention, and I'm aware of it, but I'll lay odds, most of those hitting combination with other high frequent #s more often than not will have a 0, 2, or 4 in it? WIN D, I could not said it better myself, "There is something that binds these digits together in a certain balance that fascinates me." How true!
