This works with versabet34. First make a folder in your main drive, which is usually C. Name it whatever you want, just so you can find it. I named mine files. Now open Vesabet34 and pick a file you want to transfer to excel. Go to print, click on it,a box will open that says Print Options, you will see 2 options in the lower part of the box. Send to file and send to printer. click on SEND TO FILE. then click on OK. A box opens called PRINT TO FILE. At the bottom it says NAME FILE. Give the file the name of what you are transfering, such as OH3MID. Now go to the top of the box where it says SAVE IN.Click on the the little triangle, you will see a drop down menu ,find LOCAL DISK C ,then find the FILES folder. Go back to the bottom of the box and hit SAVE. Now you can close Versabet34, and open Excel. Go to OPEN , at the top where it says LOOK IN, click the little triangle ,find LOCAL DISK C , then the FILES folder. Click on it, Go to the bottom of the box where it says FILES OF TYPE, click on the little triangle, in the drop down box , cliick on ALL FILES.Your file that you transfered should now show in the box. Click on it. TEXT IMPORT WIZARD should now open up, click on NEXT. Here is where you need to see if you have all of you columns. If not move your mouse pointer to where you want a column line and click , a line will appear. Now hit NEXT again and the hit FINISH. Your file shoud appear in the Excel grid now.Now you can go to Format and set the columns the way you want them as far as DATE , NUMBER, ALINEMENT, FONT SIZE etc.Don't forget to name and save the file in Excel. Last I can not take credit for this , Bill Mark told me how to do it a while back. Thanks Bill.
