For Pick 3...

98% of Pick 3's drawn fall into one of eight three number combos, has anyone heard of this?

It's suppossed to be part of a system....

Maybe boxed, but then it would only be close to 90%. Definitely not straight though....

However, you gave me a good idea.

What if we divided the 1000 possible combos into 8 parts, each having 125 combos, and tracking which of the one of the eight parts is likely to hit next.

Would you say that you need to play 1/8 of those?

It doesn't call for that many combos....I can't remember the site where I saw it, (definitley not Steve Player's) but it's something like this:

You list the eight combos and track your state's Pick 3 for the past thirty draws.  You list them (if they fit) under one of the eight combos that "98% of all pick 3's fall into". Then you see which one of those eight shows a preponderence to having been drawn - let's say it was 124, then you would play

                024 124 224 324 424 524 624 724 824 and 924, ten combos (boxed).

Suppossedely there are eight of these combinations that 98% of all pick 3's fall into........

Hopefully someone will remember so we can investigate. I would love to test that theory out.

I have read that Sums 11-20 provide the best coverage. The average skip rate is less than 1. So if you find that these numbers shaded in yellow have not hit in 3 days or so, bet the farm on them.

The North Carolina Education Lottery - so much a joke that here are their mascots:

Folks I really appreciate all the input but some of us are trying to "turn simple addittion into calculus".

The idea is to track thirty past picks, sort them into one of eight combos, and play that combo, 0XX -9XX, boxed, for $5 or $10 (fifty-cents or one dollar boxed or one dollar straight box, ten tickets).

Thanks for the info but betting the farm on a "should" is too liable  to become economic suicide.

                            Hello Coin Toss,

I think I can Help??? I have heard of the system and I have the 8 secret sets. It is a set of 8 pick three numbers that have at least 2 of 3 of the winning numbers in a pick3 game. I backtested it in IL with a 98 plus % of hits. What I mean by that is there were two of the three numbers that were correct inside this set. Now it does not allow for doubles or triples, just 6way numbers. I have also read that there are just 21pairs to pick3 games.(FIB's Blog, maybe?) So, if we could COMBINE the two, maybe we could get some hits????? Im not at home now, but I will send them to you and post them here so we can all use or HEADS!!! and win some cash???? Give me a couple hours to get them up.

                            THANKS,

                            ZEN

Maybe you have to check with Todd if it is somebody's original system, but thanks Zen....

I couldn't explain it right, you'did...two out of the three numbers falling into one of the eight combos

I'm sure a lot of people here will be waiting to hear from you
