Amazingly the 6/49 game rolled. I can't believe it considering the sales and low odds. I don't know what the odds of a rollover were but they couldn't have been good. (Sales posted at www.lotterycanada.com )

For a 6/49 game that's a terrific prize. Looks like it's 28.3 million US in cash. Although if you wait the Canadian dollar might get stronger. I'll be getting my tickets.

Well in defense of the games I'm stuck with, it does cost a toonie. For example, if Lotto South was a $2 game, the cash value of that jackpot probably would have hit $32mil too.

Which game currently has rolled to $28.3 million US in cash?

What would happen if someone from the USA won the Canadian lottery, but had the money deposited into an offshore account like Barbados or wherever those offshore gambling places are registered/one of dem little furrin countries that doesn't recognize US tax 'laws' ?

That depends on if you plan on coming back to the US. Ever. There is not a statue of limitations for federal tax evasion.

I miss LS too. Especially with the multi-state mess that replaced it.

I miss Lotto South too. Even though I won $60 on that "mess", I'd like to see LS come back in some shape or form.
