Like RJOH said, they already did those things to make sure they make money.
In Florida, they go to great lengths to make the p-3 as difficult to win as possible. For the p-3, they have 21 ball sets, to which 3 are chosen at random for the night's drawing. They don't announce which ball sets are used, and on top of that, whatever 3 sets they choose, they do pre tests with them. So, there goes any hope of trying to follow a trend or pattern. Like it's not bad enough to beat 1 in a thousand, but they have to make it even that much more difficult. I don't know the actual number amounts, but I'm pretty sure that if they left the machines alone, even with more people winning, they would still come out way ahead of the game, but their greed is what gets my goat.
So, whenever someone tells me that there's no way to predict the numbers, because the balls have no memory of the previous night's drawing, I tell them that there are patterns and trends to follow, but only if the officials would leave the damn machines alone, and to ask why the Lottery officials go to such lengths to avoid any possible trends and patterns to form, if there weren't any, as the naysayers claim.
Atleast on a roller coaster ride, you get a thrill. With the Florida P-3, they only make my blood pressure go up.
I would like to know which state does the least amount of tinkering with their machines and pre tests, if any at all. If I knew, I would only play in that state.
Sorry for venting, but I get really mad sometimes.
I'm starting to sound like Losing Jeff.....LOL
P.S. To make things even worse, my bank doesen't allow me to use my debit Visa card with any entity involving gambling. I would definitely win more if I can play other states. Especially with Arlene Meek's numbers. Florida is hardly ever on her "states to play" list, and now I know why....LOL
