SirMetro, in a previous thread you gave us this:

Another method you may want to consider is this

03-25-28-30-32 <---Last Nite's Fantasy 5 (Ga)

07-09-11-14-36 <--Subtract last nites number from 39, reverse it

05-17-20-22-34 <--Average the two lines

Notes:

1) When you are subtracting the 39, if the last number was 39, use 1, never go below or above the number range of the game.

2) Numbers can be selected as such

03-09-20-14-32

03-25-28-30-32 <---Last

07-09-11-14-36 <--Subtract

05-17-20-22-34 <--Average

05-09-28-14-34

03-25-28-30-32 <---Last

07-09-11-14-36 <--Subtract

05-17-20-22-34 <--Average

03-09-28-14-32

03-25-28-30-32 <---Last

07-09-11-14-36 <--Subtract

05-17-20-22-34 <--Average

If you look close, you wil see the patterns emerge. Because Fantasy 5 often can repeat up to 3 numbers, sometimes, it doesn't hurt to include it in the next play.

Hope you can make use of it.

Sir Metro

I've been tracking it and that has me wondering, how about also using this in the sequence that the numbers hit? (for those of us who watch the drawings)

Just curious, as it produces different numbers.

Either I have not had enough caffiene this morning or I just simply don't understand the question completely.

If I am reading it correctly, I assume you are saying to base the calculations upon how the numbers actually fall and not put the numbers in order. If so, then yes, you will get different values to some degree, but understand, not all of the games will provide us with the exact sequence of how the numbers were actually drawn. At least GA does not.

If your state does, then by all means, consider it. This method was offered up as a twist on how to acheive numbers that could be easily done either by paper and pencil or spreadsheet.

Also, one simple side note regarding a side effect. If the numbers are kept in numerical order (ie: 1, 2, 3, etc...) then on the third row, the middle number will ALWAYS be 50% of the overall spread. In the case of Ga Fantasy 5, that is either 19 or 20, depending on if you round up or down.

Good Luck,

Sir Metro

This similiar method can be applied to the MegaMillion and PowerBall game as well, simply use the last number (or 1 number higher then the largest number in the game)

This has gotten me several 3 number hits and on more then one occasion, has given me ALL 5 numbers and the MBall on the same ticket for the MegaMillion, just not on the same line

There is a slight twist I use for both Mega and Powerball. Do NOT use the first line because the repeats from previous games are so few and far between.  What is important is to NOT use the last numbers that were drawn. Most of the time, these do not repeat (of course here lately, it has proven me wrong, if you check back, you will see the repeats are few and far between).

09 - 17 - 34 - 52 - 53 <-- Last numbers drawn
Do NOT Pick the numbers in the Top Row
04 - 05 - 23 - 40 - 48 <-- Subtract 57
07 - 11 - 29 - 46 - 51 <-- Average top 2
06 - 08 - 26 - 43 - 50 <-- Average Rows 2 & 3
You can Also
08 - 14 - 31 - 49 - 52 <-- Subtract 57 from Row 4
06 - 11 - 28 - 46 - 50 <-- Subtract 57 from Row 3

Similiar setup can be used for the 6 number draws as well. And the best thing of all is one can quickly do it on paper, eliminating the need to keep up with anything more then what fell last.

One more little side note, if you do track the numbers based on how it actually falls, but also want to see the results if put into correct order, you can easily use this formula (amend it for the correct cells)

=CONCATENATE((TEXT((SMALL(HH4:HL4,1)),"00")),"-",(TEXT((SMALL(HH4:HL4,2)),"00")),"-",(TEXT((SMALL(HH4:HL4,3)),"00")),"-",(TEXT((SMALL(HH4:HL4,4)),"00")),"-",(TEXT((SMALL(HH4:HL4,5)),"00")))

This is kind of strange, I worked it based on Tuesday's MM drawing and it worked out to an exact interval of 7 all through the inside numbers.

SirMetro,

Could you please go into more detail for this formula.  I have stared at this for an hour and do not understand it at all.  What is being subtracted from 57?  I appreciate your help and most of all your patience.

Thanks,  Yogibear

I hope this makes sense

09 - 17 - 34 - 52 - 53 <-- Last numbers drawn

53-57=04

52-57=05

34-57=23

17-57=40

09-57=48
Do NOT Pick the numbers in the Top Row

04 - 05 - 23 - 40 - 48 <-- Subtract 57

09+04=11/2=05 (or 06, your choice)

17+05=22/2=11

34+23=57/2=29 (or 28, your choice)

52+40=92/2=46

53+48=101/2=51 (or 50, your choice)

07 - 11 - 29 - 46 - 51 <-- Average top

repeat steps above
06 - 08 - 26 - 43 - 50 <-- Average Rows 2 & 3
You can Also
08 - 14 - 31 - 49 - 52 <-- Subtract 57 from Row 4
06 - 11 - 28 - 46 - 50 <-- Subtract 57 from Row 3

Note: This can be modified to adapt to ANY quantity of numbers and width. Just remember to add 1 to the total number of balls in a game (MegaMillions has 56+1=57, Fantasy5 has 39+1=40)

I suggest back testing and adjusting as you see it needs to be.

Also, when back testing, consider the DAY OF THE WEEK (for daily games), some days may hit better then others.

Good Luck
