No.  I do not need bodyguards.  I am not a flashy person.  You would have to win a very large jackpot to need bodyguards.  They are not cheap to maintain that level of protection all the time.-weshar75

No. Why would you want to bring more attention to yourself?

I didn't vote because I wouldn't need a bodyguard to protect my $290, but I liked this answer.

Does anyone know how much does a bodyguard cost?  I'm thinking around $50-$75 grand....

Rick, cmon...Da bears just had a bad day.

Happens to the best of them sometimes.( see 1985 Chicago vs. Miami..)

However, this is the reason I do not bet on football any more.

Who in their right mind had Miami ?

Or Detroit over the ATL ?

                    ....DD

What reason would you need one??  It's not like you would be carrying around millions of $$$'s in your pocket as cash!!!

Kidnapping, held on ransom, and mobs of people begging for money are some good reasons.  Its not the money in your pocket people they are after, they want the money in your bank account.

                            I didnt answer the poll.

Instead its contigent on the amount of large winnings, the way its publicized, and how well I can change incognito.

I certainly dont beleive in drawing attention to ones self, no matter what the billfold contains.

My family is worthy of protection though if it did come down to it.

                            Interesting poll and opinions!

The book Infinite Financial Freedom, What to Do Before and After You Hit thre Lottery - by Rob Sanford, actually suggests jackpot winners take out a Kidnap & Ransom policy.
