In search of fresh polls and questions, I thought to myself, wonder if other long time posters are aware of any fresh questions that have not been asked in awhile, or just maybe once.  Hmmm?  Anybody...

Not on your list but often asked "Does this software/system really work?" or "Has anyone gotten this system to work in their State?"

Pretty much all the above with a slight edge to " what would you do if you won a jackpot "

          I voted for Other...

I think the top two topics here are Annuity vs Cash Option and then  Quick Picks vs selecting your own numbers.

Since you're looking for fresh topis for polls and questions, maybe something on luck, are some people just luckier, how much is luck a factor or the factor, etc....

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

          Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Some others that have been discussed:

            Is the lottery rigged?

Would you spend your last dollar on a lotery ticket or food?

How often do you play and for how much?

What are you favorite resources on the Lp?

Is there value in the preminum membership and why?

How do you feel about computerized number selection?

Should the gambling age be lowered and to what?

How many different Lottery games do you play?

Do you play online and why? And how much should your bankroll be?

And many others.  I personally think it is okay to duplicate questions from the past.  There are always new LP members and for them it would be the first time through.  In addition, things change and you may answer a question differently today than you did a few months ago.  People see things clearer or from a different perspective over time and again might answer differently if asked the same question again.  But an interesting post mylollipop, glad you put it out for discussion.

They have to be repeated at one time or another, because how many different questions can there really be?  I voted for the anonymity question, since that's the one I've seen since I first joined, but I suppose all of them have been repeated several times over the past year. The most common debate seems to be Annuity vs Cash.  The most common poll seems to be "what would you do if you won" in one form or another or "why do you play?" etc.  As far as favorite poster goes, I never even considered it to be a serious poll.  I have my favorites here like everyone else, but who cares?  This isn't a popularity contest.

I agree with Floridian to a point.  There is always room for fresh ideas and new members might want to add their opinions, but some of these questions have been brought up on a monthly basis. That said, it's really harmless.

              I agree with psykomo!  LOL

Excellent point Floridian!  You are absolutely right; especially about a different perspective over time.  I began playing the pick 3 and 4 games and started producing results!  I used to be a PB, MB, or State Lotto Player Only.  The "smaller amounts" outweigh the losses playing for the bigger amounts all the time.  It took time for me to realize that. Sun Smiley.  You have a good point too justxploring from Florida.

I'm not sure it's fair to list cash vs annuity as a recurring question. I think it's the same one and just won't die.  It fades away for a couple of days, but then somebody (and I'm not naming names) brings it up again.

I missed the last dollar on the lotto or food!  Would like to see that one again.  A man was down to his very LAST $3.00 and drove 50 miles to play his $3.00 in the slot machines at the casino and he won a million.  Talk about all or nothing!Hyper
