Smart lottery winners form trust to claim their winnings. They send an attorney to the lottery headquarters to claim the prize in trust, so that ONLY the name of the trust is revealed. And they tell NO ONE, especially relatives.

If you ever win a lottery and you are single, the only person you should ever marry is someone who was truly in love with you BEFORE you won the jackpot!

People can talk about strategies and gimmicks all they want, but unless your ticket actually matches at least 5 of those 6 balls, you are just another person who tried to win a game yet ultimately failed.

I will definitely play the last game of Lot'O Play. In the last game of Super Lotto Plus, a match 3 paid almost $30 and I matched 3 twice on a $10 ticket. If there's no jackpot winner in the final Lot'O Play game, a match 3 will pay ~$90.
I also like the payouts for the new Ohio Classic Lotto. A match 3 will pay $2 and a match 4 will pay $70, the old Super Lotto didn't pay anything for a match 3. At the end a match 3 was worth a free QP.

When the old Ohio Super Lotto was 6/49, I hit 5 of 6 once. I won somewhere around $1,500.00. This matrix didn't last long, about a year as I remember. I am very glad to see them bring in "Classic Lotto", and a return to the old 6/49 matrix. If things go right, I might even be able to upgrade from my horse and buggy, to something like a Volkswagen!

Maybe players just didn't like the stupid name. I wish these lotteries would stop doing that. Maybe this will be a lesson.

What nights will the game be drawn? The first draw will be on a Monday.
I bet Ohio will continue to stiff cash option winners by making the cash value exactly 50% of the annuity, unlike Mega Millions, which uses a floating percentage.

I like this idea...I hated Lot O Play. I prefer the classic games. I will be playing this a lot when I'm up there.

Ohio has made stupid lottery decisions before and had to reversed them. The worst was years ago when they put a $20M limit on the amount of annuity one lottery ticket could win. At the time people in neighboring states also played Ohio SuperLotto and jackpots got as high $70M but after that they stopped coming to Ohio to play and the jackpot amounts declined that decision was reversed about 8 months later.

I vaguely remember that. Didn't they move the other prizes down into the lower tiers?

The other prizes stayed the same. It was just that people in Pennsylvania and Indiana won some jackpots over $50M and some people in Ohio got mad and some religious people thought lottery winning of large amounts was being won by sinners so Ohio changed their rules to pleased them. They found out later that people who thought that way didn't play lotteries so their opinions weren't worth much.

They could've been more generous with the 3 of 6 prize, but it's an improvement over Super Lotto Plus. I really wish I could get into that last Lot 'O Play drawing.

When SuperLottoPlus ended, nobody won the jackpot so it was divided among the other winners and a pick3 paid $27, chances are the same thing will happen again this time. Unless you live in the state or close by, it's not worth making a road trip to get tickets.
