“I am really poor and I have three kids, this is like a gift from God,” said the 48-year-old factory worker from Cabramatta.
“I don’t earn much money in my job at the factory, but I always made sure my children got a good education and sent money overseas to help my family in Vietnam. Now I can buy a house, help my children with their studies and visit my mother in Vietnam,” he said
“Even though I’ve won more than a million dollars I feel I must still go to work. The Australian Government helped me when I came to this country as a refugee from Vietnam, so I’ve always worked very hard and never taken one Centrelink dollar.”
