Wanted to know if anyone knew why Betslips charges $2 per play

on most jackpot games when the states charge $1?  And you have

to at least purchase $10 worth?  Now I know about the min $10 credit

card charge rule which makes sense cause the money is on your Betslips account

but in the jackpot games you have to purchase $10 worth each order??

Is anyone familiar with this?

    There are two reasons.

    1. The cost of doing business.

    2. Profit

You are paying for a butler service to travel to the store and buy tickets for you, check for winners and go back to collect if you win.
It is a fair price for the service.

            You're still not getting it.

If a ticket sells for one dollar, one dollar of what you pay buys that ticket unlike some companies we don't speak of here that charge much more and bank the bet and pay a fraction of the prize.

The second dollar is the service charge that pays for a person to drive to the store and buy that ticket for you.  You should be able to estimate the cost of paying a person to do that and their expenses.  Plus if you win anything they have to go back to the store and collect your prize for you. Not to mention book keeping to keep it all straight.

If you were buying hundreds of tickets daily it might seem like a good deal for them.  If you are buying ten dollars worth, it's more then fair.
