If you were to win a lottery well over 100 million.  Would changing your name be a consideration to anyone?

I'd have to say no. My last name has been misspelled and mispronounced as long as I can remember so no one would ever know the difference!

        I would, to Bob Smith.

        Or Dave Jones.

        Or Bill Johnson.

Seriously, no, I would not change my name, Horatio Caine is just fine the way it is...  LOL

No.  My opinion is that the people who really want to find you will do it, no matter how hard you try to hide.  I would just keep a low profile and do my best not to talk about my win to anyone.  If things got really tough for me and I felt my privacy was being violated, I would take a long vacation in a foreign country. I used to enjoy traveling, so I'm sure it wouldn't really be much of a problem. In this day and age you can pay all of your bills online and communicate by email.  Of course, then someone can track your IP address.  If it gets to that point, I'd just give up.

Anyway, I'd have to reprogram my unconscious mind so all the people in my dreams would use my new identity.  Smiley

Well, any winner who enters the "Lottery Post Winner Protection Program" is probsbly going to have to change theiname!

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Is it like that movie with Nicholas Cage & John Travolta called "Face Off?" Whose face do I get? (is Keira Knightly's available?)

I've changed my name already! Love it, I don't need to change it any more.

I already have those days where I feel I need to pull out my drivers license just to remind me what my name is, no need compounding it. Besides, I am already on my third name as it is (honest, no joking about that part). If anything, I will just adopt my online name to be my real name. Probably more people know me by my online name then those do by my real name. As for most of those who know me in person...well, let's just say I can't print here some of the names they have for me.
