Post your powerball workouts if you want.. here's one I'm playing around with.

The first set of numbers are the actual poweball results

The second set of numbers are the powerball results reduced down to single digit skips.

The third set of numbers are the skips from the second set of numbers.

The last set of numbers are the low end mirrors from the third set of numbers.

So, what I'm thinking is that powerball can be reduced down to a four digit number between

0-0-0-0 and 9-9-9-9, just like in the pick 4 game. Sort of gives me a 1 in 10,000 chance which is still

hard, but might be more profitable for catching lower tier prizes, like 3 out of 5 and 4 out of 5.

I think, at this point, it comes down to picking a four digit number and working it back out to

all combinations for powerball.

For instance, let's say I want to take a mirrored permutation of 1-2-3-4.

I could use 6-7-3-9 or one of the others. I think there are 14 or so of them. If you look in the

last column below, 1-2-3-4 has come up 4 times in some form. This is long term stuff here.

So, if I take 6-2-8-4 and work it back out to powerball numbers, it would look like this...

I have to decide what first number I want to use... I'll pick 01.

01 <<< that's the first number, then I add 6, 16, 26, and  36 to get the second numbers

07, 17, 27, 37 <<< those are the second number possibilities, then I add 2, 12, 22, 32

09, 19, 29, 39 <<< third number possibilities, then I add 8, 18, 28 38

17, 27, 37, 47 <<< fourth number possibilities, then I add 4, 14, 24, 34

21, 31, 41, 51

Then I select one number from each row to form all possible combinations...

That's about it. This workout might help some in other games as well. I think it would make a great

foundation for a Cash 5 program.
