illinois,texas,michigan,indiana and now maryland are all talking of selling the lotteries.this stuff is very bad in my opinion.

    cant understand why  they total rape anyone playing  thats probly why  if they had some decent games  with decent payoffs  without being taxed to death maybe it would be better in someone other than states hands

      Taxes will always be there...but a for-profit company will lower the payouts further to line their own pockets. Not to mention, they will have to be licensed by the state, who will want their cut too.
