I use my favorite songs to pick numbers.

Once I got $1,574 for picking 5 numbers out of 6 in the Texas Lottery using the numbers from the

song "Love Potion #9". This song was written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, who wrote many

songs for Elvis Presley.  The day I got the numbers was Elvis Presley's birthday.

I took my troubles down to Madame Ruth
You know that gypsy with the gold-capped tooth
She's got a pad down on Thirty-Fourth and Vine
Sellin' little bottles of Love Potion Number Nine

I told her that I was a flop with chicks
I've been this way since 1956

She looked at my palm and she made a magic sign
She said "What you need is Love Potion Number Nine"

I forgot to add that I had picked the number 24 (instead of 26)

because the song is from 1959. 1+9+5+9= 24

The jackpot was 3 million dollars.  There was one winner.

A waitress that said that she played that day because of Elvis Presley's Birthday.
