..or maybe state what you would definitely NOT do.

We are always hearing on the news outrageous stories about people doing crazy things for the almighty dollar.  Some people will marry for money, some people will pose nude for it.  Some people will steal for it and some commit the worst sin...they murder.

How far do you think you'd go if you knew the offer was real?

Gee, wow. This brings several things to mind, from the Book of Questions to an episode of Wise Guy where Sonny (the late Ray Sharkey) found out the the character played by Ken Wahl was an undercover cop.

There's a scene where the cop says, "You kill people", and the gangster, Sonny, says, "I don't send teenagers over to some jungle to do it for me."

Not sure what I would and wouldn't do. The first thing is how could you know the offer was legit?

Brings this (risque) story to mind though.

A very well to do investor walks into a Wall Street tavern, sits down, buys a drink and a woman comes over to him and starts making small talk. The guy is obvioously well-heeled, expensive suit, Italian shoes, Rolex, etc....

After a few drinks, the guy comes out and says, "Would you hop in the sack with me for $1,000,000?"

The woman, definitley having illusions of grandeur by this offer, says, "Why sure, honey."

The guy then says, "OK, now that we've determined what you are, let's negotiate the price."

    Scared

Remember that show Who Wants to Marry A Millionaire? I had that thing spotted as a scam from the get go - no millionaire is going to have to do something like that to find a wife.

Another thing this brings up- ever see that Twilight Zone where one guy bet another the guy couldn't stay silent for a year? So the guy takes the bet, has his vocal cords cut out- then at the end of the year the guy who proposed the bet admits he was a phony and never had the money he bet the guy?

So what about you, Justxploring, what would you and wouldnt you do?

Boo.  I hate that story!!  I can't tell you how many times in my life I've heard it..and always from a man.  Now turn it around and think of how much a woman would have to offer a guy.  A nickel perhaps?

Match All the Numbers in a 40 Million Dollar Lottery! Big Grin

              $40,000,000(annuity) - $20,000,000(for cash) - $10,000,000(for taxes) = $10,000,000(cold cash)

$10 million cash is a lot of money.

Every time I've read that the MegaMillions jackpot is over $20M, I've considered that a real chance  to win $10 Million Bucks so I've bought lottery tickets.  I've been falling that one every since the game came to Ohio.  If I could get $10M for a year of hard work, I would probably do that too.

You're assuming a solo hit. If even one other person had the same number that drawing, you then reduced the $10,000,000 handed to you by half.

                          Five things I would do:

                          1: I'd vote republican for 10 million .

                          2: I'd eat asparagus

3: I'd swear off chocolate for one whole day!

4: I'd humor a man and make him think they are the superior being.

5: I'd campaign for lower wages.

                          Five things I wouldnt do:

                          1: Any of the above!

PS; As a lady I can sincerely say I enjoyed the bar joke! Its appropriate for how deals are made in the business world.

It would be hard to give up chocolate for an entire day, but I'd try my best.  Then I'd have enough money to buy Godiva truffles whenever I get the urge.
