I was just thinking about Free lotteries or as i call them "Free ADs LOtteries", you know the ones that let you see ADs and then you can play them for free..MY question to you is: Do you like them? Would you play them & do you feel we should have more free Ads lotteries, like in every country?

YOu are welcome to say anything you feel about them...

That's one of the things i would do if i get rich...I would set up an inordinate amount of free lottos across lots of countries....The kinds that get the revenue from advertisements/ads and i would set them up acrross the Canada, U.S, Latin America, Europe, East Asia, India, the Carribean, and Africa....I would set it up so every household can claim up to (don't know how i didn't think about this earlier) 30-40 tickets....The minimun payout would be 1 Million dollars....I would make it a PIck6, 6/49 game and no more than that....The draw will be done three times a week...And depending on which country you live, you will have more or less of this free lottery or as i call them "free ads lotteries"...And i would advertise this free lotteries on every newspaper on each country that has them....People from certain nationalities will have more access to some lotteries than other nationalities, all depending on the particular country's population...

Guys i think it could be a good bussiness because for example in my country of origin i don't think they have heard of it...All you had to do is anounce it on the newspapers and it will fly...The key is to announce it on EVERY NEWSPAPER....Free lottos i felt didn't work well in North America but if you take it across new territories like Europe, East Asia and Latin America, the idea could fly..The key for it to be successfull is that you MUST announce it on the newspapers & Magazines...

I feel free lottos (whether they are free lottos or lottery sweepstakes) weren't successful that much because they announce it on the Internet and the Internet is not as popular as newspapers and magazines...

The answer is a highly qualified yes.

If you can find one that uses actual state draws for their winning numbers, offers enough tickets to use a wheel, prizes you want to win, doesn't limit or exclude your state like New York and Florida requries and the rules spell out how the prize will be paid,  then you can extend your lotto budget by including some free lotto plays.

I would recommend you print a copy of the rules and contact information including a copy of the site's whois . com or betterwhois . com so if you win and they vanish from the web the next day you know who you're looking for.  Better safe then sorry.

As for starting one yourself, it's a flawed business model because it attracts mooch customers who don't buy the products in the ads so it becomes ever harder to keep your advertisers happy.

I don't think is because of mooch customers who don't buy the products in ads...

I say the reason why free lotteries don't make it is because the type of advertisers they got on these sites...I've visited a couple of free lotteries and they don't have "regular" advertisers like" Sneakers, Palmolive, Colgate, Goya, Maggi etc, etc, etc. Who do they have making the advertisings? They are advertising stuff like: Casinos, Online Surveys, etc, These things wouldn't work as advertisers...What they need to do is get all the companies of products in standard grocery stores and make them be advertisers...The type of advertisers they got on free lotteries right now is flawed...

I mean don't expect people to visit casinos after viewing an ad because they will not go if a casino is not close to them...Same thing with a Car company, don't expect people to go and buy a car after viewing your ad on a free lotto website...They got to have advertisers that people can afford and find easily...Why put an advertiser who is hard to find or you can only find it on certain places...So to run a free lottery you must carefully choose your advertisers when running a free lottery site...

Free lottos used to be good -- several years ago.  Now they are nothing but spam magnets.  If you enjoy wading through thousands of spoam messages in your inbox, then sign up for a free lotto.  If you want to win something get a real lottery ticket.  People spend all day working with those free lotto things and never win a thing, because frankly the banner ads do not pay the lotto companies enough to generate any meaningful jackpots.

What i was thinking is the amount of well off people the free lotto would create abroad...I was thinking more if it will work abroad...I was thinking more of a country like my country of origin that has population of 3 million and only has a pick4 lottery...I don't know these companies suppose to be paying to advertise...But todd is right it is full of spam nowadays and they used to be good years ago..Now

For the size and rank the U.S has, it should be full of free lottos...But i believe there is a problem...The reason why a free lotto wouldn't work on a big country with a big population like the U.S is that advertiser companies can't afford to advertise on "every" newspaper in the country, it will cost dearly to do...They could however advertise on magazines but yet i don't know how much magazines charge to advertise on their pages...I think free lotto if they advertise it on newspapers will work a small countries, countries with population less than 2 million...Why because this countries have few newspapers and you could afford to advertise with their newspapers who knows perhaps with their magazines...Also the U.S Bussiness Market is full of trickery (meaning is fully grown), while countries with population less than 2 millions tend to be virgin markets..." Basically what i am saying is that in the States they come up with every possible thing conceivable while in some countries abroad, they haven't thought of that yet, that's what i mean...Example the Internet is use to buy clothes, etc while in small countries they don't use the internet for too much stuff yet...And i feel that the internet needs to be let to grow and prosper and for it they need to make the internet and computers be available, cheap....At one point i saw the MB of computers getting bigger and bigger everything and the computers getting cheaper and cheaper everytime, now i don't see that. I feel that there has been an halt on computers that hit the market...This is one of the reason i favor NEC, because it sell cheap computers...But what i don't like is that computers that 1 year ago made news, they don't sell it no more for the price that that computer is worth..What they do is they sell you the new computers at their high price...Not only that but internet connection needs to be made cheap for the rest of us...Internet connection i still see it as a little bit high...

When i say of starting your own free lottos i was thinking in starting it abroad and not in the U.S or Canada....

How are the free lotteries drawn? Are they RNG? And can you pick numbers or it has to be QP? How much SPAM(R) would flood my e-mail vs. what are the real odds of winning? How many pages of questions must be completed before you get your first play?

Some lotteries are Rng, some have machines to draw their own numbers others use what play on the state lottery...You can chose your own numbers or quick picks..About how much spam you will get i don't know...They used to have it as pick6/49 but now they have pick6/62 or pick6/60something...They got a few that are pick6/56+plus...And you get like 100 dollars if you match 5 numbers...The odds begin at 1 in 61 million...The bad thing about all this free lotto is that some is not most of them give you less than 10 tickets to play for each draw...To some your nationality has to qualify...To qualify for some you need to be from England, etc...
