what I get from reading, is he is no longer gambling. It sounds like he is following a deep conviction.

Yes, sounds as if he has taken religion and quit trying to gamble, there are many ways of seeing gambling, one is as a job, like for LottoMike, payMeNow and some others, after all most of us have to work and to some gambling is just a job same as any other, nothing wrong with that morally that I can see, to some others is just a past time something fun to do, I can't see wrong with that either, other reasons might not be so good.

                    Good luck to all.

Here is an e-mail I recieved this morning from Steve -

                      Well Hello There Bud,
Yes, I'm doing just fine - thank you for asking.
I've renewed my commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, so, playing chance games for money
doesn't really feel right to me, personally.
I feel like I'm squandering my financial gifts from God and being foolish.
The Lord has blessed me at my job where I have been given an opportunity to advance
in the CNC shop, so I'm very focused on learning all of the machines there.
My relationships have all been healed just recently as well.
I feel like I'm winning the lottery every day!
Most importantly, it's the relationships that have turned full circle and have been righted.
I'm truely happy and want to keep this new trend pointed in the right direction.
                      Pass it on...
God Bless all. Time is short.
                      Steve

Isabel, you are going to feel very silly when this turns out to be make-believe.

I am relieved to read that!  When I first read his blog entry, I sent a PM to some other members asking if they would please look at it, because I interpreted it as a suicide note and had no way of contacting him.

                              Thank goodness I was wrong.
