While playing the game tonight, the clerk said it will either be gone or changed by March. LOL! Well that lasted long. Bring back Lucky For Life! That would be a major stake in cashonly's heart lol. They said the game is screwing up all the machines. Every time I take a card in, the machine can't read it usually, and they have to enter them in all by hand.

Sirbrad, not to add salt to injury, the cashier is not a member of the PA state lottery commission, so Id take her opinion with a grain of salt.
The game is NOT due to be pulled nor should such a rumour be started. Contact the PA lottery thru their website. They wil best be able to address your question or respond to your opinion .
This game has it glitch due to software issues, that is a known problem which can be remedied. OTherwise it has more winners and more playable payouts then its preceding game..Give it time to have things ironed out.

Well, this might be a sign of things to come. If for some reason they get rid of Mix & Match, I hope they replace it with some other game, even if it's Lucky For Life, even if it's 2 more weekly drawings for Match 6. Ever since New Jersey got rid of Lotzee and never replaced it with anything, I've always been wary of games getting the ax.
But whatever happens to Mix & Match, there will be a new game introduced. And it's even odder than M&M. Word of warning, the text on the page is very small.

Who said it was a she? I was thinking about emailing the lottery, but I really don't care much about the game to do so. The $2.00 price tag kills it for me, even if the odds are a lot better. I just find myself playing $2.00 a lot less because it costs too much to use systems. However I still like LFL better, and would prefer a lifetime of checks over the starting one-time $50,000 payout which would be gone immediately.

Hmm what a coincidence, might not be such a far-fetched rumor after all.

Adding a new game to the MID DAY Games is irrelevant to the topic at hand. UNTIL its posted on the PA Lottery website, Mix and Match isnt going anywhere. Far fetched or not, its important not to mislead some of the newcomers on this site into thinking such an END is true for the M&Match game. An opinion is different then a fact.

Which is why I placed a "?" at the end of my post title, which in fact asks a question as opposed to stating a fact. But personally I do not believe it will be around long, as the format goes against the grain of all the other games, and that is why the machines are being screwed up. It could also be said that it is an "opinion" that this can be easily remedied, maybe it can't? I guess we will see.

Jimmy, I just don't understand you.
Didn't you and cash argue vociferously to replace LFL with Flip & Switch (m&m) and NOW I hear you say you hope the game you campaigned for (flip) is REPLACED?

I never advocated getting rid of Mix & Match. Where on earth did you come up with that?

...... just my 2 cents on this new game ... I have thrown in the towel myself on this game .. mix & match. I was all excited about the game when I first read about it and that there was only going to be 19 numbers in the game. I quit playing last week .... $2.00 is too much for so little return ... I did hit 4 numbers once and of course got only $20 .... in my case I only have so many "lottery dollars" to spend per month and I still think the Match 6 game in PA is still the bargain game when you get 3 sets of numbers for your $2.00 plus you can hit with numbers from all over the ticket plus the jackpot is much larger ..... unless you also think the $20.00 Raffle ticket is the better bargain .... in a way I do think that may just be the best bargain with the better odds and all the chances to win something for having just one or a few tickets.
..... look at how many tickets have been played on the new game so far ... just looking at the winning ticket totals so far and still no one has hit the jackpot yet on the mix & match game. .... if it were only $1.00 I would continue to play ... as I said, just my 2 cents ....

Two things: 1. Mix and Match's demise is news to me. So far, my hit rate has been better than average, though the cash payout has not. So far all my winners have been free tickets, the very first one also won $2. That's it, but I still have faith. And yes, until otherwise, I'm sure it will be around a while.
Yes there is a new game the end of April, I read the fine printed letter also through a magnifying glass, and what I can determine the game will be Treasure Hunt, $1 ticket; pick 5 from 30 , computer drawn RNG mid day, 7 days a week; top prize progressive jackpot starting at $10,000; odds of winning anything 1 in 5.45.
I'm sure it would have its pros and cons. I might play if so inclined.
Any one else notice that odds on newer scratch tickets keep increasing? I've noticed this for years.

If I could change anything about Mix & Match, it would be the ability to pick the 2 additional sets in each section. I hate how it only lets you pick 1 of the sets in each section.

If what you are saying is true, a COMPUTER drawn RNG 5/30, then this is more than the beginning of RIGGED games in PA!
The three step RIGGING FORMULA is simple:
1) First, you install a computer to select the numbers, which destroys true randomness!
2) Next, make sure your software can detect in microseconds that the computer's selection was not PRE-selected by any player out there. This will ensure you increase your state's profits!
3) Lastly, collect unjust, unfair profits at end of day!
Let's OUTLAW the use of Computers to Draw Lottery Numbers!
"And they all lived happily together in lotteryland, where computers falsely determined "winning" (i.e. rigged) numbers, where small, incremental jackpots gave false hope to those eager to settle for (rigged) crumbs, and where players mindlessly purchased tickets unaware that Big Brother was controlling every single aspect of their lives, even their secret hope that their leisure time pursuit of buying a ticket would one day lead to riches".
