Welcome to Lottery Post.  You might not get too many responses to your question because this has been asked many times.  So I suggest you use the Search feature and type a key word like "pool" and see how many threads appear.  There have been numerous articles about lottery pools, lawsuits between participating members, etc.

BTW, I'm not referring to anyone in particular, but if you begin getting private messages from other people here about joining their pools, I would be very careful.  I have no idea if they are honest or not, but I was solicited many times when I started posting here, and I don't have any desire to join a pool unless it's local and I know the people. Even then I wonder if it is worth the aggravation.

Okay. Yeah, I should've done that, but I only saw threads on one page, so I didn't think there were any old threads to search for. I've thought about starting up a legitimate lottery syndicate. I've Googled it a few months back, but that didn't do me any good. :)

            the lottery is the syndicate.

Are you saying you want to be the person in charge of buying lottery tickets for people. like a bookie.

            i wouldn't try it.

But if you wanted to start a small lottery pool you can do that.
