i'm proof that you never give up on a number.i was playing 5846,5648,4658,4856 for a year and a half every day and i got to where i quit playing it for days at a time.well one day i had to go get diapers at the store for my babies and i felt myself heading toward the lottery ticket counter even though i knew i was running late for work.it was an instinct thing that took over.something told me i better do it.well i should;ve played a dollar but i only played 'em for 50 cents.still i put the ticket in my wallet and was just a few seconds shy of being late because it was raining that day.well i was also wanting to move pretty bad and that was on my mind.the next morning i casually got in for work and went straight for the tennessee lottery website to browse and i saw the midday numbers and then i slowly slid the mouse down to the bottom of the screen for the evening results and there it was 4856.i was a very happy camper indeed because this win which was 2,500 dollars gave me the financial leverage i needed to do some very important things i had to get done.so i say never give up because as soon as you do you'll be sorry.i think you might've PM'd me about this or asked me about this in one of my threads recently but i would definitely say stick with it.

I give up on a number right after the draw... win or lose.

I keep them changing all the time.

Playing more than one ticket per game is betting against yourself.

Never "fall in love" with a number.

Cards, dice, and lotto balls (or rng's) have "eyes, ears, and no heart".

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

          Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

though to say when to stop but tripple digit numbers don't come out as often as many others.

here are some stats for you about your number.

i am also married to a number that has hit many times boxed but not straight. I'll continue to play it till it comes out or i die whichever comes first. Realize that just because you like a certain pick 4 number that it might not hit straight again for 5 or more years.  But in the same breath it might come out one week and again a week later. Numbers are funny like that.

I took this hint from Big John and he seems to be right about it--- see below.

Big John says. You don't hit the number. The number hits you!!!!

                           I'm not Big John, I'm Four4me, Big John's a friend.

I usually give up just before they hit.

I get bored with the same number so do not stick with them to long.

                           Here's to you, LottoMikeCheers

.........Right on!!! Immediately after 9/11, I began "feeling" 111,  I played it up until Jan of 2002 when I was abruptly fired!!!,  The minute I didn't have 50 cents to keep this number in....IT PLAYED....I was BLOWN AWAY!!!....I continued to play 111 the minute I got back on my feet...but it quickly became more like whenever "I felt like it",  I never seemed to TOTALLY drop it!!!....but "I no longer felt it"....finally, early last year, I FELT it BURNING, and played it 50cents both midday and evening for 5 days straight and caught it on like the second day!!!

Guess I'm doomed.  I'll never forget the time I was in a casino in Vegas and was playing roulette.  I know, no skill required.  However, I kept betting on 22.  When I ran out of chips I stood up and turned around and heard "TWENTY-TWO"  I had the same luck with the stock market!  So this is why I keep playing the same lottery combinations.   Call me crazy.

I wish the average would hurry up and come around for the 999 and 111 on midday in Ky. I've been playing 999 now for about 3 yrs on midday and just picked up the 111. the 9's haven't ben out on midday since 2001 and I have no idea how long for the 1's. I'm married to the 999 and was married to 3500, 5300, 4500, 5400 until a couple of months ago. I stopped playing those pick 4 numbers and would you know it, 5300 fell.  I had been playing 8765 in TN for a month and didn't play it yesterday because I was running late and didn't have time to stop at the store to play my numbers. Gonna get out early today and play 4474,4444,5555,6666,7777,8888, and 9999 for midday in TN. I'm gonna play 8345, 8245, 4605, and 1536 on evening in TN. I want to give up on the 999 in KY but think the day I stop it will fall.

I love doubles and remember, it's just a game!!!!!!

About 4 years ago, I was playing the last 4 digits of my cell phone number, which I no longer have. It was 8472.

I played it for about 2 weeks straight, and finally decided to stop. Of course it hit straight about 3 days later. Needless to say I was fuming.
