I said this shouldn't happen in Powerball but in fact it shouldn't happen in any lotto...

Guys, i am looking at all of Powerball draws from 2006 'til present and i see something that shouldn't happen....Let me first start buy saying that combinations in a pick6 or pick5 that start with 18 & above are VERY RARE...They RARELY PLAY...I've looked at lots of history draws and I've never seen this types of combinations play one after the other, let alone 4...And i am looking at Powerball draws from 2006 'til present and SHOCKINGLY this combinations play 4 times in a row...And it shouldn't happen, the odds of that i can imagine are astronomical...Talking about a machine error...Notice the following:

7/15/2006 = 20-35-36-47-50

7/12/2006 = 18-19-30-31-33

7/8/2006 = 32-37-44-49-50

7/5/2006 =  26-39-41-52-53

One draw after the other...I believe the odds of that happening are bigger than seen the bonus ball of Powerball play the same number 3 times in a row....Combinations that starting with number 18 & above are a little bit more common on Pick6, not not on pick5...And even so on Pick6 they play sporadically...You will be lucky to see two combinations one after the other starting with the number 18 & above, let alone 4 now....Talking about been fishy...

The odds are about the same as any other combo.

pre and post draw results show all sorts of numbers for those dates...

Playing more than one ticket per game is betting against yourself.

Does that somehow apply to the now and current ?

If not, then it's irrelevent.

It CAN happen, but as you said, the odds are astronomical, so don't play them.

What you noticed is a trend, trends change, just as a series of games where 'longshots' hit in 3 games in a row, seldom do they ever make it to 4 in a row.  And 3 in a row is not worth betting on at all.  Two in a row IS worth betting on.

(A Longshot to me is a number that has not hit in 25 or more games).

PLEASE tell me that that´s not the amount of pre-test done on Powerball, because it is starting to get creepy...I am counting 5 pre-test for Powerball, is this true? I thought the most pre-tests they did was 2...CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THIS IS NOT HAPPENING...Another reason why i can´t stand the lottery.  I mean they are turning just like the casinos...Why 5 pre-tests?

Of course it should happen, and we know exactly how often we could expect it to happen.

For PB there are 3,478,761 possible combinations using all 55 of the regular balls. There are 501,942 of those combinations, or 14.4% of them, that consist of numbers  18 and higher. That means that 14.4% of the time, or roughly 1 in 7 drawings, we should expect that the lowest number will be 18 or higher. An event that happens 1 in 7 times is not rare by any reasonable definition. The probability that it would happen 4 times in a row is .144^4 or .00043, which is 1 in 2326.

The chance of any particular powerball being drawn 3 times in a row is 1 in 74,088. Since we have to have some powerball in every drawing, the chances that the last one drawn will be drawn again in the next two drawings is 1 in 1764, so it's 50% more likely than  4 consecutve combinations where all numbers are higher than 17.
