Is just me or has anyone else tried a new system they came up with and had success on paper but then when they put money down to play the system it stopped working. It has happened to me on the past two times it tried to come up with one

    With most systems, there are short term, positive results, and if you do a longer back test you'll see that it probably won't hold water.

    I suggest a back test of atleast 3 to 6 months.

      If you'll post the details of your system, perhaps another LP member can test it too and tell you its chances of working again.

      After back testing a system it's a good idea to forward test it a few times before putting money on it.  Sometimes forward testing will show up weakness in your back testing techniques.
