I see people trying to eliminate computerizes drawings, signing petitions for megaplier, writing to the lottery director sugesting new games, less taxation on prizes, etc., etc... We can only succeed if we're organized. I am thinking of a National Association, similar to the NASPL which they have, that congregates state and provincial lotteries. It is about time for "US", lottery players to create an association to fight for our rights and to make them listen to our voices. I invite you all to join me in this endeavour.

The most effective means of doing somethig like that is to simply not play any particular lottery game people are upset with.

Unfortunately, that doesn't happen and the lotteries know this all too well. Thus matrixes expand and people who swear, "I'm done with _ _ _ _ _ lotto, that's it for me", are back in line for the next drawing.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

You are right Coin Toss, lottery corporations are like the casinos and never really lose profit ... the can only make money.  I have the fortunate opportunity of living in Canada where every lottery game is tax free.  Even the largest lottery win is not taxed.  I do think its a good idea to have a grass roots plan for those U-S states that have really poor odds, huge tax margins, and no concern for players.  A good idea is to write to the people in the higher echelons of the lottery and let them know how you feel.  The only problem is that the lotteries are run independently from the State, so in many cases you're dealing with a corporation that is just regulated by the state--not run directly by your state.
