(I'm using stroker here to describe a very rude player)
Mrs Coin gave me a couple of bucks today to get her a couple of scratchers from the machine at a grocery store.
Ther's a woman in front of me. She stickes her money in the machine, gets a ticket, doesn't even atempt to move, and scratches the ticket right then and there, blocking anyone else from getting to the machine.
She does this three times - then she gets a ticket and goes a few feet away to scratch it at the service counter. She wins something, cashes it, returns to the machine and puts some money in.
I was going to get one more ticket, because her antics the first time stopped me from seeing what all was in the machine. So she gets her ticket and starts scratching right in front of the machine, again. I said, "Excuse me", and was going to put another dollar in, but see that as she's standing there scratching her ticket, the machine says, "$10.00 Credit".
She stuck in a $20, got a $10 ticket, and started scratching it, leaving the $10 credit.
She was one rude individual, and I let her know it.
Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.
There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.
