The first and foremost problem I see is payment transactions traveling at light speeds, yet still too slow to get business done.

Paypal would have to be renamed Paysoon.

      LOL....

Well, this will only work if aliens believe in market economy and don't have the technology to find patterns from lottery winning numbers.

Seriously, I believe there's at least a few civilizations that can see into the future out there.

There will be a drawing in 2029, and another in 2036. If we're fortunate, we won't "hit". Wink

Hunter S. Thomspon wrote Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, among other works, but that's his most famous.

                      ///

Art bell (now retired) of late night talk radio fame said that people who do exceptionally well in the stock market and lottery kackpot winners might very well be time travelers, space travelers, or people from another dimension.

There's a UFO Festival in Roswell, N.M. every year to the anniversary of the 1947 ufo landing (crash), maybe this festival is to set up the IGL! (Inter-Galactic Lottery, of course).

I'm just wondering, now with all this information coming out about the muitlverse, and our entire universe being just one of many, will ever be an Inter-Unvierse lottery?

"This matrix looks like heiroglyphics, man"

                       "Don't worry, I've got a system"

"The advance play is a minimum of 16 light years, pad in advance, we might have to join a pool this time."

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                      Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Beam me up!  If I am still alive!Shifty.  Now let us decide, what kind of currency will be galactic currency.  How many light years will it take to process the win? Will the good cause of the galactic lottery be to refurbish planets that depleted their ozone layers???

                            Thanx for the info.

I visit coast to coast everyday. That convention was held just a few days ago, on the 11th in Denver I believe.

I think we've all won the galactic lottery. The simple fact that we out swimmed (swam?) all the other millions of sperm, to get to the egg...lol

Pac, I thought you would have heard about Hunter he was very funny. Just Google "the kentucky Derdy is Decadent and Depraved" Its from the 1970's. anyway what it means to your post is that in 2005 hunter blasted his brains out and was cremated. In 2006 Johnny Depp a good friend of Hunters had a 153 foot tower built in hunters back yard. they hoisted a cannon up to the top of the tower and that night blasted his ashes into outer space therefore becoming a Galactic time traveler. If you happen to get some outer Galactic Jibberish on your computer this could be him.

If we blast some Jack, L.S.D, a bunch of pills and a wireless setup to him he could be your server for the entire universe bring in ten's of trillons of Klingon dollars. you would rule the world.

Your task would be to figure out how to turn this into Euros or american money. this could be diffcult.

Anyway, just a thought for your Intergalactic lottery. at least its a start.
