This should be Tales of the Lottery Fairy, read on:

This is a book description in a catalog form Daedalus Books

As Luck Would Have It

Increidble Stories From Lottery Wins To Lightning Strikes

Joshu Piven

Once upon a time- May of 200 actually - there was a swimming pool repairman who only had a $100 billto pay for a hot dog. On a whim he requested his change in lottery tickets and subsequently won $90 million. Improbable but quite true.

Maybe that had been discussed here, I don't know, but it sure is yet another example of pure luck and nothing but luck.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

No matter what you do to "outsmart" it, winning the lottery requires either all luck or a real good guess on the right day.  There is no one "system" that's going to do it for you; only  a lot of tools to help you make a decision. But in the end, its you and not the "system".
