Monmouth  9th Race

# 8  Barcola  (8/1)

Horse's chances are double of what the morning line suggests.

Good luck!

Here's my experimental dutching bets for this race:

Horse                                      Odds*                   Morning Line              Win Bet

    # 8 Barcola                               5/2                           8/1                           7.00

    # 2 Gottcha Gold                     3/1                             6/1                           5.00

    # 7 Tasteyville                         7/1                         10/1                            3.00

                                                                                                          ------------------

                                                                                                        TOTAL  $ 15.00

Odds based solely on pace and speed at the distance.  No other handicapping factors taken into      consideration.  However, when all factors are taken into consideration, Barcola comes out to 4/1, Gottcha Gold 5/1 and Tasteyville 15/1.  So Barcola is a good bet, all things considered.

Note:  This is a risky bet.  All three horses are confirmed early speed horses which sets the pace up for a late runner.  But that's why they call it gambling and as EddessaKnight says, "out of the box".

I know it looks like I'm talking to myself (and I do that a lot...lol) but I'm just working on "presentation" so you can ignore this post.
