Hello,

I am a reporter for the Tennessean newspaper in Nashville and am interested in talking to anyone who alerted the Tennessee lottery to the fact that no duplicate numbers were being drawn in the pick 3 and pick 4 drawings.  Please email me or call me at 615-259-8044 or 1-800-351-1752.

Thanks,

Sheila Wissner

Here is a thread you should definitely check out:

Keep in mind that most state lotteries read the Lottery Post forums, in order to see what players are saying.  It is very likely that between the posts here, and the e-mails sent directly to the lottery by LP members, they were finally shaken to start investigating.

Look at the e-mail replies from the lottery, which were posted on Lottery Post after they received them.  The lottery was clearly in a state of denial until the last minute, when it probably took 5 minutes to catch the keypunch error.

Here is a post by Lottery Post member four4me, which was posted prior to the glitch being discovered:

Here is the e-mail reply sent back from the Tenn. Lottery when many Lottery Post members wrote to them about the apparent bug:

Somebody should be asking the lottery if they really did those test draws, because how could they possibly have done them if the bug was still in place at that point?  They most likely lied in their e-mail.  Sorry to say it so harshly, but what other conclusion can be drawn?
