    $1000 a week for life odds($52,000 a year for life) = 1 : 5,245,786.

I think for a game with odds that high for the top prize should offer a prize a lot bigger than that. If I'm going to drive over to Kentucky, I'd much rather play Cash Ball. Here's Cash Ball's odds and payouts:

KENTUCKY CASH BALL Match Prize Odds Per Play
    4/33 1/31
    Monday-Saturday
    $1 per play
    4 of 4 1 $200,000 1:1,268,520
    4 of 4 0 $2,000 1:42,284
    3 of 4 1 $300 1:10,935
    3 of 4 0 $50 1:365
    2 of 4 1 $25 1:521
    2 of 4 0 $1 1:17
    1 of 4 1 $2 1:86.8
    0 of 4 1 $2 1:53

Hell, with as much progress I've made on my Pick 5/Pick 6 system, I'm almost tempted to drive over to Kentucky and start playing that Cash Ball game. Unfortunately, the Camaro is out of commission at the moment.Unhappy

Aren't all the Win For Life games separate from each other?  I picked one up a few months ago when I was in Oregon and did a little research.  It looked like Oregon had its own game not at all connected to other states.

Ok, I ran some simulations about this "CASH BALL".

It is easier to hit a second or third division prize. The main problem is that it  is also easy to lost money on it since for some combinations there is only a return of $1 per ticket (not enough to be profitable).

                Anyway here is:

                Simulation for 29/08/2007.

Ten numbers, making a combination of 50 tickets.

                2-3-7-8-12-14-16-19-23-28

                14-18-23-28+18

                16-18-23-28+19

                Here the results:

                3+1 = 1

                1+1 = 1

                2+0 = 16

Another thing to look at for Cash Ball compared to PowerBall:

                  Cash Ball  - Match 4/4 + 1 = $200,000. Odds = 1 : 1,268,520.

                  PowerBall - Match 5/5 + 0 = $200,000. Odds = 1 : 3,478,761.

                  Cash Ball   - Match 3/4 + 1 = $300. Odds = 1 : 10,935.

                  PowerBall - Match 3/5 + 1 = $100. Odds = 1 : 11,927.

So it's 2.7 times easier to win $200,000 on Cash Ball than it is to win $200,000 on PowerBall, and 1.1 times easier to win $300 on Cash Ball than it is to win $100 on PowerBall. I just might have to play this game.

                  Gonna win.Big Smile
